PM MODI LAUDS GOVIND DHOLAKIA’S VISION IN LIGHTING UP DUDHALA: AMRELI’S FIRST SOLAR VILLAGE

Honourable Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, recently visited Dudhala village in Gujarat, the hometown of Shri Govind Dholakia, Founder & Chairman of Shree Ramkrishna Exports Pvt. Ltd. and Member of the Rajya Sabha.

During his visit, PM Modi commended Govind Dholakia’s transformative initiative of solarising Dudhala, making it Amreli’s first fully solar-powered village. This project has granted lifelong, free access to solar energy, promising a brighter, sustainable future for the village.

“In matters of energy, Amreli district is advancing with new milestones. Dudhala village has embraced a solar-powered future through Govind Dholakia’s initiative. Six months ago, he shared his mission to solarise the entire village, and today, that vision is nearly complete. This initiative will save Dudhala about Rs. 75,000 per month, with each home saving Rs. 4000 annually, providing lasting benefits to the community. I extend my gratitude to Govind Dholakia for this remarkable contribution.”
