Mansi’s Award-Winning Design: Parallel Truths
The Story Behind Parallel Truths
Mansi’s design, ‘Parallel Truths,’ tells a powerful story of ambition and balance in the lives of working women. The pair of earrings, which double as brooches, symbolizes the dual realities women navigate: family and career.
Alexandrite Gemstone: A Visual Metaphor
Featuring an Alexandrite gemstone that transitions between warm reddish-purple and cool bluish-green, the piece visually captures the seamless transitions women make daily.
Design Elements: Social Truth vs. Intrinsic Truth
- Social Truth: Portrays a woman’s arms in a heart-shaped embrace, symbolizing her nurturing role within her family.
- Intrinsic Truth: Showcases abstract cosmic elements, representing her aspirations and professional ambitions.
Mansi’s Vision
“This piece is deeply personal yet universal,” Ms. Mansi shared. “It’s about honoring the strength women show in balancing their Social and Intrinsic Truths. Winning this award is an honor, and I am grateful to IIG for giving me the tools, guidance, and platform to express my vision.”
