JJS POSTER LAUNCH BY CINESTAR POOJA BATRA

The theme poster of 19th edition of Jaipur Jewellery Show (JJS 23) was launched today by the well-known model and actress Pooja Batra Shah at the Hotel Jai Mahal Palace. On this occasion, the Emerald Promotion Group too was launched. This was in the presence of the Organising Committee of the JJS as well as a number of other well-known jewellers. On the occasion, Pooja Batra said that it is indeed an honour and privilege to be the Brand Ambassador of JJS this year. She said that she was so happy to be in Jaipur after almost 20 years, the city renowned in the world for its absolutely scintillating jewellery and coloured gems.

On the occasion, Chairman of the JJS organising committee, Vimal Chand Surana informed that the theme this year is in continuation with the year 2022 – ‘Emerald ‘s timeless elegance’. For 2 decades, JJS has gone from strength to strength.

Honorary Secretary of JJS, Mr Rajiv Jain said that the show has come a long way from when it was launched in 2004 with 67 booths, to now having as many as 1100 booths, with 200 still in waiting. Each year as many as 35,000 to 40,000 visitors as well as international traders visit and participate, he said. Mr Jain also informed that this year also there will be a Pink Club which will have 74 booths for B2B interaction as around 51 booths last year. He further said that this year there will be 14 members of the Emerald Promotion Group.

On the occasion, Managing Director of Product and Sales, Gemfields, Adrian Banks said that the association of Gemfields with JJS has been almost for a decade now, and excellent work has been done looking at the demanding growth of Emeralds. We are excited to continue the theme of promoting emeralds in 2023 as well.

The show was conducted by the JJS Joint Secretary and Spokesperson, Mr Ajay Kala who said that JJS continues to be number 1 B2C, and number 2 B2B show in the country. The JJS December show will witness new dimensions for increasing the trade, he said.
