The first-of-its-kind India Jewellery Park Mumbai’s construction will commence this month, announced Mr. Vipul Shah, Chairman, Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) during the inauguration of the 17th edition of India International Jewellery Show (IIJS) Signature at Bombay Exhibition Centre (BEC), Goregaon East. Phase 1, including the A1, A2, and A3 buildings spanning approximately 9 lakh square feet, will be ready for procession by December 2026.

All India Gem & Jewellery Domestic Council (GJC), the apex body representing the Indian gem and jewellery industry, is pleased to announce that Mr Rajesh Rokde has been elected as the new Chairman and Mr Avinash Gupta the new Vice Chairman of the council. The FTC’s updated guidelines provide a clear, standardised definition of ‘diamond’ and distinct terminology for laboratory-grown diamonds, ensuring clarity and transparency for both industry stakeholders and consumers.
