GRT JEWELLERS’ GLOWING GENEROSITY: A RADIANT CONTRIBUTION TO THE SOCIETY

Recently, GRT Jewellers has made a donation worth ₹1,03,00,000 to three notable organizations that are working towards serving the society.

GRT Jewellers, one of south India’s premier jewellery brands, that has been leading the craft of creating intricate traditional and contemporary jewellery since 1964, has been on a mission to add value and contribute to the society at the highest and lowest levels possible.

Recently, GRT Jewellers has made a donation worth ₹1,03,00,000 to three notable organizations that are working towards serving the society.

One of the institutions to receive an aid of ₹50,00,000 is The Cancer Institute, Chennai. Also known as the Adyar Cancer Institute, it is a non-profit cancer treatment and research Centre established in 1952. This donation will be used as support for 20 General ward cancer patients for Robotic Surgery.

Concurrently, Aram Charitable Trust, Puzhal, Chennai provides holistic support to those in need, focusing on education, healthcare, and livelihood development was handed over the donation of ₹28,00,000 for the purchase of permanent home to accommodate Orphan Special Girl Children.

And followed by a donation of Rs. 25,00,000 to Public Health Centre -West Mambalam, Chennai, to support economically backward children for Free Vaccination for 1 year and purchase of medical equipment (Andrology workstation, Patient monitor, Infusion pump & syringe pump). Public Health Centre conducts surgeries under various branches every month and the charges for the services available are nominal and affordable.

At the donation handover ceremony, Mr. G.R. ’Anand’ Ananthapadmanaban, MD of GRT Jewellers said, “At GRT Jewellers, we have firm beliefs in helping the society and people we thrive in, and so we actively do our best to aid organisations that take up the challenge of improving the lives of those afflicted with poor conditions of life.”

To this, Mr G. R. Radhakrishnan, MD of GRT Jewellers added, “Helping the masses is not a task everyone is cut out for, it requires great will and a strong resolute.
