DESIGNERS OF INDIA WILL HOST THEIR DESIGNERS’ FORUM WINTER 2022 IN SURAT

This year, Designers of India (DOI) will host the Designers’ Forum Winter 2022, Powered by GIA, in association with SVAR Media, on November 30th, 2022, from 9:00 am onwards at The Le Meridien, Surat, which will be followed by lunch.
DOI is proud to host another such event from the knowledge series, which is an attempt to create and craft masters for the jewelry industry. Renowned industry speakers will provide knowledge to jewelry designers and guests will also get to witness a panel discussion on scaling up designers’ growth in the jewelry industry.
The event will be graced by our honorable chief guest Savji Bhai Dholakia and the guest of honor will be Milan Shah, Director at Kalamandir Jewellers Ltd.
The panelists at Designer’s Forum Winter 2022 are going to talk on two different topics. Panelists for the topic “Importance of design and challenges for designers in the industry” are as follows: Milan Shah – Director, Kalamandir Jewellers Ltd; Bipin Viradiya – Chairman, Tanvi Gold Cast LLP; Jigar Soni – President JAA, Director NS Jewells; Vipul Bhuva – MD, Parth Ornaments Pvt. Ltd; Priti Bhatia – Director, Awesome Sparkle; and Apoorva Deshingkar – Sr. Director, GIA, Education and Market Development.
Panelists for the topic “Trends in jewelry industry for the year 2023” are as follows: Dhaval Bhindi – Partner, Bhindi Jewellers; Sanjay Dhakan – Director, Bansi Jewellers; Surbhi Shah – Director, Surbhi Jewels; Ravi Bhalara – Director, Tanvi Eternals Pvt. Ltd.; Riddhi Shah – Creative Director, BR Designs Pvt. Ltd.; and Shrusshti Sharma – Founder, DOI. The moderator for both the panel discussions will be Rajendra Jain – MD, SVAR Group.
A speaker from GIA will be talking on “The Big Three”. Other notable speakers and their topics are as follows: Anuj Toshniwal – Digital importance for jewelry industry, and Mukesh Jain – Road map for designers to start their career.
DOI was founded in 2018 by Shrusshti Sharma in Mumbai with an aim to promote new talent while creating business opportunities for jewelry designers. Their mission is to work for the future of designers and ensure their sustainable growth while promoting and nurturing its members who represent the ideology of designing. One such initiative, Designers’ Forum Spring 2022, was a massive success and allowed members of DOI to showcase their talent in an exclusive luxury show.
This will be an invitation based only event and will be graced by various well-known designers, manufacturers and retailers from the industry.
