The Zaveri Bazaar Welfare Association launched the highly anticipated Zaveri Bazar Gems & Jewellery Festival 2025 (ZBF 2025), a landmark event celebrating the timeless glory of India’s jewellery trade. The grand ceremony took place on 22 September 2025, and was graced by Chief Guest Shri Ashish Shelar Ji, Hon’ble Cabinet Minister of Information Technology & Cultural Affairs, Government of Maharashtra. Also present was Mr Hitesh Jain, President of Zaveri Bazaar Welfare Association, along with the entire Zaveri Bazaar Welfare Association team. The festival, which will be running from 22 September to 26 October 2025, with the main exhibition held from 6 October to 16 October 2025, is transforming Zaveri Bazar into a fully decorated and facilitated venue symbolising excellence, unity, passion, and purpose.
Prize Pool Highlights
One of the festival’s major attractions will be the prize pool, valued at INR 3 crore. Daily winners will receive luxurious prizes, including Thar SUVs, gold coins, Rado watches, and iPhones. The grand bumper prize will be particularly noteworthy, offering 2 kg of gold and 100 kg of silver, a combination valued at approximately INR 3 crore.
Event Platform
The festival is serving as a significant platform for over 7,000 jewellery retailers from across India and international buyers from more than 10 countries. Attendees will be experiencing a blend of business meetings, exclusive jewellery showcases, and cultural events, all set against the backdrop of Diwali festivities in Mumbai’s iconic jewellery district.
