The largest jeweller in the city is now Jos Alukkas. The grand opening of the Jos Alukkas’ second showroom in Trichy was inaugurated by esteemed Minister K.N. Nehru. The event’s allure was enhanced by the presence of esteemed chief guests, Trichy Mayor, Mu. Anbalaagan, Deputy Mayor, G. Dhivya, and Actress, Aishwarya Rajesh.

GJEPC inaugurated its second office on 1st November in Mumbai, located at Zaveri Bazaar. The opening ceremony was graced by Dr. Harshdeep Kamble, IAS, Principal Secretary of Industries for the Government of Maharashtra, along with Shri Vipul Shah, Chairman, GJEPC, Shri Kirit Bhansali, Vice Chairman, GJEPC, Shri Sabyasachi Ray, Executive Director, GJEPC, and other distinguished guests.

Maharashtra Hon. Minister of Industry Shri Uday Samant during his visit to GJEPC and Bharat Diamond Bourse announced that the State has taken a decision to allocate additional land adjacent to the Park for India Jewellery Park workers’ residence. India’s first-ever Jewellery Park in MHAPE (Navi Mumbai), spread over 21 acres is expected to create one lakh new jobs.
