Rokde Jewellers, a well-known brand across the Vidarbha region for its wide range of gold, silver, and diamond-studded jewellery, has organized a grand three-day inauguration ceremony in Gondia. The first day of the event was inaugurated on the evening of 5 December by TV serial Kumkum Bhagya fame actress Pooja Banerjee.

On this occasion, members of theRokde Jewellers family and management were prominently present, including Bhaiyaji Rokde, Mrs. Vandana Rokde, Rajesh Rokde, Sarang Rokde, Mrs. Anamika Rokde, Mrs. Sanskruti Rokde, Paras Rokde, and Gondia’s Suresh Agrawal and Lakshya Agrawal. As soon as actress Pooja Banerjee arrived, she was welcomed warmly with applause and fireworks, and the Rokde Jewellers family greeted her with a bouquet.

Senior family member Bhaiyaji Rokde delivered the welcome address. He said that Rokde Jewellers began in Nagpur’s Itwari area, expanded through outlets in Mahal, Dharampeth, Sitabuldi, and now the 8th showroom is being established in Gondia. He highlighted that the entire family’s cooperation, strong management, and dedication toward quality have helped the brand earn customers’ trust and success. Paras Rokde said that the brand, founded by their respected elder Markand Ravji Rokde, has carried forward a legacy of more than a hundred years and the trust of five generations. Even today it stands as a symbol of trust, quality, variety, service, and transparency. Actress Pooja Banerjee also praised Rokde Jewellers’ jewellery range and quality, and wished the brand continual progress.
Community and Business Perspective
On the same occasion, member of the Agricultural Produce Market Committee and leading businessman of the city Suresh Agrawal said that Rokde Jewellers has inaugurated a new showroom in Gondia, and this three-storey building will be the largest showroom in Gondia. Earlier, people from Gondia used to go to Nagpur for special jewellery shopping, but now Rokde Jewellers has opened a showroom in the city itself, which will benefit residents and help Gondia grow further. Lakshya Agrawal and Nita Agrawal also extended their heartfelt congratulations to Rokde Jewellers.
Residents benefitted from inauguration offers
It is noteworthy that during the three-day inauguration celebrations from 5 to 7 December, special offers have been announced:
- 50% off on making charges for gold and silver jewellery.
- 100% off on making charges for diamond jewellery.
- For customers starting a Gold Saving Plan during these three days, 25% off on the first instalment.
Because of these offers, a very large crowd of customers gathered at the showroom on the first day itself. Throughout the day, local customers were welcomed and hosted by Rajesh Rokde and other members of the Rokde family.
Celebrations continue today and tomorrow
The Rokde Jewellers showroom in Gondia is the biggest showroom in the city so far. The inauguration is being celebrated over three days, and grand events will be held on 6 and 7 December as well. It was planned that on the first day, along with the grand opening, actress Riddhi Dogra (known for films like Asur, Jawan, and Tiger 3) would also arrive, but due to sudden countrywide flight cancellations affecting around 1000 flights, she could not reach Gondia. The Rokde family is making efforts, and if travel services are not disrupted on 6–7 December, then the Bollywood actress may arrive in Gondia today or tomorrow.
