As the first Monday in May approached, the highly anticipated 2024 Met Gala finally arrived; A-list celebrities gathered for the pinnacle of fashion and elegance, strutting down the -this time- green carpet, adorned with the most exquisite natural-diamond jewellery.
With each step up the grand staircase of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, they redefined glamour and sophistication, making this event a true spectacle of style and opulence, as always.
The Costume Institute’s forthcoming exhibition, “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion,” complimented this year’s Met Gala theme and dress code, “The Garden of Time.” Fairy-tale florals and ethereal natural diamond creatures covered the Met steps on the likes of Jennifer Lopez, Lily James, Gigi Hadid and more.

One of the co-chairs of the 2024 Met Gala, Jennifer Lopez, wore a Schiaparelli Haute Couture gown with epic natural diamond jewellery from Tiffany & Co. Schlumberger and the Tiffany Celéste Collection. Each piece is set in platinum, complete with a 20-carat natural diamond at the centre.

The Natural Diamond Council’s very own Global Ambassador, Lily James, looked radiant in a custom gown from Erdem, complete with whimsical natural diamond jewellery from Boucheron’s Plume de Paon collection.

Actress Alia Bhatt wore a custom Sabyasachi Sari as well as Sabyasachi jewels complete with old mine-cut natural diamonds as well as morganite, tourmalines, and an array of cocktail rings.

Dua Lipa‘s latest album, Radical Optimism, was released a few days ahead of the Met Gala, leading her to be on cloud nine and looking radiant. The singer arrived alongside Marc Jacobs, wearing a designer custom gown. She paired her look with Tiffany and Co. natural diamond jewels, including a pinky ring, cluster earrings, and a diamond spike starburst necklace.
