Export Facilitation Under the Notification
As per the said notification, exports to European countries, particularly gem and jewellery related exports, will be facilitated at very low cost or, in certain cases, at no cost. This development is expected to significantly enhance export competitiveness, reduce operational costs, and open new avenues for Indian businesses in European markets.
Support for Domestic Industry and MSMEs
This initiative will provide meaningful support to domestic manufacturers, traders, and MSMEs, and will further strengthen India’s position in the global gem and jewellery trade.
