The State Council meeting of the All Kerala Gold and Silver Merchants Association (AKGSMA) with the India Association for Gold Excellence and Standards (IAGES) took place in Kozhikode, marking a significant step toward enhancing professionalism in the Indian gold industry.

The Indian Association for Gold Excellence and Standards (IAGES) aims to set an industry-wide code of conduct covering the entire gold value chain; an IAGES accredited gold entity will add more value to consumers, earning their trust with the promise of fair, transparent and responsible gold buying ahead of the festive season

An MoU was signed between the India Association for Gold Excellence and Standards (IAGES) and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) in the presence of Shri Arjun Ram Meghwal, Hon’ble Minister of Law and Justice, Government of India. The MoU was signed on behalf of IAGES by Kaushlendra Sinha, CEO, IAGES.
