Shifting to our new office was one of the biggest projects of my life, as we created the entire Shine House from the ground up. With a new space, we brought something fresh in every aspect—whether it was our products, our systems, our sales approach, or our technology. The moment you stepped into Shine House, you experienced a completely new environment, a touch of luxury, and a sense that you had arrived somewhere truly different.
Grand Inauguration of Shine House
During the inauguration from December 15 to 17, ShineShilpi welcomed retailers and some of the most esteemed dignitaries of the jewellery industry. Silver is increasingly becoming a mainstream choice in the jewellery segment, and the launch of Silora comes at the perfect time. Could you tell us more about the brand and the range of offerings it will bring to the market?
Over the past six months, we’ve noticed a growing interest in silver jewellery. To cater to this demand, we decided to introduce exclusive 925-purity pieces, which are highly sought after by both end consumers and retail showrooms. Many showrooms are now creating separate silver divisions or even standalone stores to promote these collections. With this in mind, we collaborated with manufacturers from across India to develop a wide range of exclusive products across five main categories.
Five Distinct Silver Product Categories
The men’s collection offers a complete range, while the women’s collection includes plain silver, rose gold, antique necklaces, and more. The kids’ collection features diverse designs suitable for young wearers. Recognising the demand for religious items, we have created both hollow and solid idols of deities. Additionally, our accessories collection offers unique items such as ladies’ purses, combs, and belts—perfect as gifts. Altogether, we have explored silver jewellery across five categories, providing something for every customer.
Focus on Handmade Gold Jewellery
With gold prices fluctuating and options ranging from 9 to 24 karats, how is Silora positioning its gold offerings for retailers?
Our focus is currently on handmade jewellery, especially in the 22-karat and 18-karat segments. In regions such as UP, Bihar, and parts of MP and Jharkhand, the demand for 18-karat jewellery is rising rapidly, largely due to its ideal weight and durability. We anticipate that both 18-karat and 22-karat jewellery will see much wider circulation in the near future. The 18-karat pieces, in particular, offer excellent strength and a beautiful shine, making them perfect for intricate handmade designs. While 14-karat and 9-karat jewellery continue to dominate the export market, domestic consumers are increasingly showing interest in machine-made pieces.

However, the elegance, craftsmanship, and the appeal of handmade jewellery ensures that 18-karat and 22-karat collections will garner strong domestic demand.
