JEA’23 FINAL JURY ROUND THRIVES WITH OUTSTANDING DESIGNS AND REMARKABLE PANEL

The Second/Final Jury Round for the 15th edition of the Jewellery Eminence Awards (JEA’23) was successfully held at Hotel Royal Orchid in Jaipur. As one of India’s renowned jewellery design competitions, JEA’23 aims to uncover and celebrate the outstanding jewellery designs created by jewellers, students, and professionals across the country
For the final Jury meeting held on Saturday, 24th June 2023, there were 20 participating categories for Jewellers, students & professionals. In the final jury assessment, the shortlisted designs from PAN India were evaluated through a scientific judging process by an esteemed panel.
This extraordinary assembly of experts – Mr. Sudhir Kasliwal (Director-Gem Plaza), Mr Shan Bhatnagar (Artist & Interior Designer), Ms Shalini Lunia (Gem Education Specialist & Jewellery Curator), Mr Rohit Kamra (Fashion Designer-Rohit Karma Designs), Ms Pallavi Foley (Founder-Pallavi Foley Boutique Jewels), and Mr Anoop Bartaria (Chairman & Managing Director- Sincere Group and World Trade Park) – brought unparalleled expertise to the final jury round of JEA’23, offering their discerning eyes and keen insights to assess the shortlisted entries, physically. With each shortlisted jewellery piece displayed at the judging hall meticulously, the air crackled with anticipation and excitement for JEA’23.
“This is the most serious jury that I have ever attended. The organizers have gone to the next level to protect the sanctity of the events. The event was ‘High on Design’ It was a treat to my eye.” said one of our esteemed jurors Mr Rohit Kamra
“It was a fantastic experience judging the entries this evening. It was difficult to judge as each piece outdid the other. I was impressed with quality, innovative design and it was a learning experience for me also.” said Mr Sudhir Kasliwal
Talking about the jewellery trends, the juror Ms Pallavi Foley said, “Heritage is a big trend this year. Taking the traditional motifs and giving it a modern touch. The minute you wear a jewellery piece, the drama it creates, how it interacts with your body.”
The insightful jury round was held in the presence of Jewellers Association, Jaipur, JAS and JEA Committees.
The winners will be declared at the Grand Gala Awards Ceremony on 8th July 2023 during JAS: The Premium B2B Show, scheduled on 7-8-9 July 2023 at JECC Sitapura, Jaipur
