The 18th edition of IIJS Bharat – Signature 2026, organised by the Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC), concluded in Mumbai, marking a strong start to the global gems and jewellery trade calendar for 2026. As the first major B2B trade show of the year, the event set a bullish tone for the industry, with an estimated ₹75,000 crore in business expected to be realised over the next three months.

Ardee Industries Limited (the “Company”) has reached a significant global milestone with the listing of its pure lead brand, “Ardee Lead 9997”, on the London Metal Exchange (LME), a global benchmark platform. LME has approved Ardee Lead 9997 as “good delivery” against its Lead Contract with effect from December 23, 2025, which reflects the Company’s adherence to stringent international standards relating to product quality, consistency, traceability and responsible production practices.

Mr. Kirit Bhansali, Chairman, Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC), was invited to attend the meeting organised with selected representatives of various industry sectors that contribute majorly to India’s merchandise exports chaired by Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi at New Delhi, on 3rd November 2025. Mr. Kirit Bhansali was representing the Gems & Jewellery sector that contributes 7% to India’s Merchandise Exports. The meeting was convened to seek inputs from leading export sectors on measures to strengthen India’s competitiveness in global trade.

The appointment of Mr. Kirit Bhansali as Chairman and Mr. Saunak Parikh as Vice Chairman marks a transformative phase for India’s gem and jewellery sector. With their combined expertise, GJEPC is set to enhance global trade partnerships, promote innovation, and drive sustainable growth. Their leadership is expected to strengthen policy frameworks, boost exports, and modernize the industry, ensuring India maintains its position as a global powerhouse in the jewellery market
