The 20th Jaipur Jewellery Show (JJS), with the vision to give an impetus to the Gems and Jewellery trade and to place Jaipur on the World Gem & Jewellery map, was organised from 20 – 23 December 2024 at the Jaipur Exhibition & Convention Centre (JECC) in Sitapura, Jaipur. The theme of this year’s show was ‘Rubies… Rare, Royal and Revered’. The show witnessed participation in large numbers, both from visitors and traders, along with exquisite displays of jewellery, gemstones, artefacts, etc.

GJEPC’s Eastern Regional Office celebrated its 25th anniversary on 11th January 2025 in Kolkata. The event was attended by a distinguished gathering, including Dr. S.H. Dange, Principal Commissioner of Customs, Kolkata, as the Chief Guest, along with Shri D.N. Singh, Development Commissioner, Manikanchan SEZ; Shri Vipul Shah, Chairman, GJEPC; Shri Kirit Bhansali, Vice Chairman, GJEPC; Shri Pankaj Parekh, Regional Chairman, GJEPC; and Shri Sabyasachi Ray, Executive Director, GJEPC.

DHL Express, the world’s leading international express services provider, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Gems and Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) to ship India-crafted jewellery via courier mode, leveraging DHL’s time-definite international (TDI) delivery service. As the first international logistics provider to sign an MoU with GJEPC, DHL will support local jewellery and gem makers to broaden their footprint and increase revenue.
