As a part of the curriculum, IIG organised a two–days factory visit tour to Surat for the students. Students had an opportunity to visit jewellery manufacturing factory of Shish Jewels Pvt Ltd and Golden Carat (SRK), Diamond manufacturing unit of Finestar Jewellery & Diamonds Pvt Ltd over two days.

Also, Rahul Desai, CEO of IIG, has been appointed as the Executive Director of Education for Finestar Educational Institute (Division of Santoktara Jain Charitable Trust).

There were more than 20000 Trade Visitors, of which 800 + were International Visitors from 60 countries, including the USA, Canada, UK, Hong Kong, Middle East, Europe, Bangladesh, Nepal, Russia, Thailand, and Egypt had visited the show. 2500 + stalls and 1300 + Exhibitors spread over 6 Halls.
