Her Royal Highness Princess Sirivannavari Nariratana Rajakanya graciously presided over the opening ceremony of the 73rd Bangkok Gems & Jewelry Fair. The event is organized by the Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP), Ministry of Commerce, with the Gem and Jewelry Institute of Thailand (Public Organization) or (GIT) as co-organizer, at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC). The fair is scheduled to take place from 22–26 February 2026. The opening ceremony was attended by Mrs. Suphajee Suthumpun, Minister of Commerce; Mr. Vuttikrai Leewiraphan, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Commerce; Ms. Sunanta Kangvalkulkij, Director-General of the Department of International Trade Promotion; Mr. Sumed Prasongpongchai, Director General of the Gem and Jewelry Institute of Thailand; along with senior executives from the Ministry of Commerce and representatives from relevant private sector organizations.Â
