The roadshow for IIJS Bharat – Signature 2026, the world’s one of the largest gold and jewellery exhibition to be held in Mumbai from January 8–12, was inaugurated in Kozhikode by Kerala Gold and Silver Merchants Association, State President, Mr. K. Surendran. The event marked participation of more than 400 Jewellers in Kerala.

Miraar Jewels inaugurated its 1st grand showroom on 26th October 2025 at the renowned Dubai Gold Souk in a ceremony graced by Mr Panakkad Syed Sadiq Ali Shihab Thangal along with Mr K. Surendran, State President, Kerala Gold and Silver Merchants Association and Mr A.A. Shukoor, Former MLA.

All Kerala Gold and Silver Merchants Association State President K. Surendran and General Secretary Adv. S. Abdul Nazar alleged that the GST raid on the gold trading sector was untimely and aimed at disrupting the Onam trade
