After an illustrious four-year tenure at the helm of De Beers Jewellers, Céline Assimon is set to step down from her role as Chief Executive Officer, embarking on new professional endeavors. The company has initiated an executive search to identify her successor, with her official departure slated for February 28.

During her leadership, Assimon masterfully redefined De Beers Jewellers as a design-centric luxury house, curating an exquisite evolution of its core collections and high jewelry masterpieces. Her strategic vision and creative ingenuity played a pivotal role in elevating the brand’s global standing, strengthening its commercial performance amidst a dynamic luxury landscape.
Expanding Global Influence
Her contributions extend beyond product innovation—she forged influential partnerships with global market leaders, orchestrated preparations for the much-anticipated Rue de la Paix flagship boutique in Paris, and was instrumental in shaping the brand’s contemporary identity, culminating in its latest campaign.
An Expanded Role at Forevermark
In 2021, her remit expanded to include oversight of De Beers’ Forevermark division, succeeding former CEO Nancy Liu.
A Legacy of Leadership in High Jewelry
Before joining De Beers, Assimon steered Swiss high-jewelry house de Grisogono through its final chapter as CEO. Her distinguished career also includes leadership roles at Louis Vuitton, where she oversaw high jewelry and watchmaking sales, and Piaget, where she directed high jewelry and exceptional creations.
