Jaipur holds a distinct position in the world of jewellery, and the Jaipur Jewellery Show stands as a celebration of the city’s rich heritage, tradition and artistry. This was stated by Deputy CM of Rajasthan, Dr Premchand Bairwa, while addressing the valedictory ceremony of Jaipur Jewellery Show 2025 as the Chief Guest. He further emphasised that the jewellery industry plays a vital role in economic growth and employment generation, adding that the state government remains committed to supporting and encouraging the industry through progressive policies and continued ease of doing business.

India’s No. 1 B2B and B2C show — the Jaipur Jewellery Show (JJS) will be held this year with the theme “Coloured Gemstones” at the Novotel Jaipur Convention Centre, Sitapura, from 19 to 22 December 2025. JJS has earned a special global identity as the premier December jewellery show, where top jewellery traders showcase their newest designs and finest craftsmanship. JJS is prominently featured in annual calendars across India and abroad.

On Wednesday 15 October 2025, a group of approximately 40 illegal miners marched on the mine gate at Montepuez Ruby Mining (“MRM”). They proceeded to attack Mozambican police officers present at the gate, killing two, one of whom was a commander of Mozambique’s Natural Resources Protection Force. No MRM employees or contractors were injured in the attack and onsite conditions have been calm since.
